DPA Cobras High School Group

The Dayton Players Academy (DPA) is committed to providing the Dayton area with a truly ‘player-centered’ approach to soccer development. The DPA is an institution that aspires to create something meaningful and lasting in the Dayton area. We seek to provide a coherent development pathway, where the players are able to develop in their community clubs during the small-sided years from U8-U14, but then transitions into a High School (U15-U19) platform that allows for those players to take the next steps in their development by being ability-grouped with players of similar ability and ambition. Our mission is to help all of the soccer players in Dayton take their development to the level they choose to take it to! DPA currently has 2 main programs: high-level individual, small group, and team training, camps/clinics; and a Futsal program. All of these are open to any player from any club and will remain that way. DPA is adding two additional programs for 2019. These programs are the DPA Cobras High School Club program and DPA Cobras City Program. The DPA Cobras High School program is a collaboration of the local community clubs of NWC Alliance, Oakwood United Soccer Club, and Southwest SC. NWC Alliance serves the Springboro/Centerville area and has players from the ages of 4 through 14.  Oakwood United Soccer Club serves the Oakwood area and has players from the ages of 4 to 14. Southwest Soccer Club serves Germantown and the surrounding areas and has players from the ages of 4 to 14. The DPA is excited to work with these community clubs, as well as, all other interested players. Collectively, we seek to provide appropriate soccer development opportunities for all Dayton area players wishing to continue soccer development as they transition from 8th grade to high school and continue through their senior years.  We each seek to provide a coherent development pathway, where players are able to develop in local community clubs during the small-sided years through U14, transitioning to a high school platform (U15-U19) to enable players to take desired, appropriate, effective next-steps in their development.  Our mission is to provide options for as many soccer players in Dayton as possible to develop on and off the pitch in an environment (and cost) that fits their needs. There is a loud calling in Dayton for the very type of high school soccer program that the DPA and founding Clubs are aiming to deliver.  We cannot wait to hit the pitch in the coming year.

High school tryouts will be held the week of June 3rd. For more information please visit the web site at www.dpacobras.com or the partner websites www.oakwoodunited.com, www.nwcalliancesoccer.org, and http://www.southwestsoccerclub.net
